LLM Engineer - Utility Industry AI Solution POC

What you'll be working on
  • Develop a proof of concept (POC) for an AI-powered document generation solution
  • Create a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system tailored to the utility industry
  • Design a simple web application with React/Flask to demonstrate the AI solution
  • Implement a document transformation model trained on legal utility documents

Responsibilities
  • Design and fine-tune a large language model for specific document generation
  • Develop a backend system that can process and analyze uploaded input documents
  • Create a frontend interface for document upload and AI-generated output, as well as other non-functional placeholder UI components to offer a glimpse into total functionality of the full solution (post-POC)
  • Implement RAG techniques to improve model accuracy and contextual understanding
  • Perform iterative testing and refinement of the AI model
  • Document the development process and technical specifications
  • Prepare a comprehensive presentation of the POC

Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
  • Proven experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript
  • Experience with RAG techniques and model fine-tuning
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Understanding of web development technologies (React, Flask)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Knowledge of legal and utility industry document structures preferred
