Job Summary:
Join micro1 as an Engineering Specialist - AI Tutor, where you will play a crucial role in mentoring AI systems to understand and apply advanced engineering concepts. This remote position offers you the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the precision and reliability of AI-generated engineering content. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering the flexibility to match your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and label engineering data using proprietary software, ensuring accuracy in areas such as structural, electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
- Curate precise data with detailed engineering terminology, focusing on design specifications, process optimizations, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify challenges and improve data annotation workflows.
- Review and provide feedback on AI-generated engineering content, ensuring it reflects real-world applications and technical standards.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of data input and labeling processes.
- Utilize Innovation and Design Thinking to enhance the AI's learning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ensure high standards of quality assurance in all engineering data and AI interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Engineering).
- Expertise in engineering concepts, including system design, modeling, and analysis techniques.
- Ability to apply engineering terminology accurately in data labeling and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Strong understanding of engineering research and problem-solving techniques.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
- Proficiency in English and specialized engineering vocabulary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with AI or machine learning technologies.
- Background in quality assurance and data validation processes.
