DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

Cybersecurity Engineer are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.

To ensure success, a cybersecurity engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.

This role will report to Technical Manager / Technical Director.

As the Cybersecurity Engineer, Solution Engineer (PaloAlto) you will:

• Customer Support:
• Ensure the timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.
• Collaborate with the sales and presales team to understand customer needs and expectations.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality post-sales technical support and services to customers.
• Ticket management and assignment within the SLAs in Global Ticketing System
• Product Knowledge:
• Maintain a deep understanding of our cybersecurity product portfolio.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies.
• Share product knowledge with team members and provide technical guidance.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously assess and enhance post-sales support processes and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and customer satisfaction enhancements.
• Implement best practices to ensure consistent service delivery.
  
  
  
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE About you

The ideal Cybersecurity Engineer, Solution Engineer (PaloAlto):


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
• Knowledge on Security Solution such as Firewall, Endpoint Security, Antivirus, Cloud Security, ZTNA, SASE.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as VPNs, SSL/TLS, encryption, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, packet analyzers, and syslog servers.
• Familiarity with SIEMs and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Good English Communication would be an advantage.
• Strong commitment to customer success with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work off-shift for Case Support/Troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks products, including next-generation firewalls (NGFW), Prisma Access, Cortex XDR, or Panorama be advantage.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
