Data Engineer Manager

Job Summary

Data Engineer Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data architecture and ecosystem solutions that support both on-premise and cloud data environments. This role will involve overseeing a team of data engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the development of innovative data solutions to help clients to achieve tangible data-driven outcomes through the use of TechX Data Platform. You will help data teams complete projects and integrate our platform solutions into client's enterprise ecosystem. To success in this role, you need to be passionate about client liaison, data engineering and cloud infrastructure technology, building key learnings and problem solving, as well as good communicators with strong people skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of data engineers to ensure the successful delivery of data projects and initiatives. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for efficient executio
• nLead the design and implementation of an enterprise data architecture and ecosystem that supports on-premises and multi-cloud environments. Design and develop the E2E data pipeline: data transformation, ingestion, processing, and surfacing of data for large-scale applications
• .Develop data solutions in collaboration with business development, data science and engineering teams. Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate data solutions with systems and applications. Work with data governance team to ensure data integrity, policies and procedures to maintain data quality, security, and compliance standards
• .Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, including data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipeline development. Support in regular performance reviews and provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team member
• sWork with sales and presale teams to understand clients’ needs, find solutions, and develop business proposals. Ensure appropriate solutions are proposed to customer and monitor actions and results against plans

• es10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data architecture in large-scale enterprise environmen
• ts5+ years of experience in managing data engineer or data management teams and owning an organization’s data function, while working collaboratively with other departments and leadership team
• s.Proven expertise in working with both on-premises and cloud data technologies, having worked on solutions deployed across AWS, Azure or GC
