Solutions Architect

Job Summary

At SCB Tech X, as an Architect (Solutions Architect), you will be a part of the teams to build Enterprise foundation of SCB Tech X as well with technical solutions propose.

You will be involved with a solution design of large scale platforms, such as SCB-Easy, Robinhood, SCB Open API, etc.

Not only go-live platforms, there are still many future platforms being waited for your ideas.

You will be using many of skills sets such as solution design, software development, infrastructure including communication & presentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with business team, you need to understand business requirement in order to propose, design or developing solution to serve business requirement.
• To be a focal point of building and integrating systems to meet the business’s needs including resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes when/where needed. Develop prototypes and present to management and development team
• Assessing the application & systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staffs (e.g. Developer, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineer, DBA, Securities) to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Drive continuous improvement plans in Enterprise Architecture foundation.
• Exploring opportunities and maintaining personal networks to add value to job accomplishments.

Knowledge, Skills and Competency

• Thai nationalities or have permit to work in Thailand.
• 2-10 years experienced in software development role or any technical roles are welcome.
• Have infrastructure, network, securities basic knowledge.
• Experienced in any of public cloud such as AWS, GCP and Azure.
• Experience in any of programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, Go.
• Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL Database (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good command of English
• (Optional) 2-4 years experienced working as Solutions/Enterprise Architect.
• (Optional) Experienced in Mobile development (Flutter, Kotlin/Android native, Swift) is a plus.
• (Optional) Experienced in Microservices architecture is a plus.
• (Optional) Experience in container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• (Optional) Experience in using Message Queue / Kafka / AWS SQS is a plus.
• (Optional) Experienced in financial business is a plus.
