Senior Engineer Information Technology VMware

We are seeking an experienced VMware Engineer to join our team of IT professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our virtualized infrastructure based on VMware vSphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team.

In your new role you will:

• Design and implement VMware vSphereinfrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
• Create, configure, and manage virtual machines, including operating system installation, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and optimize virtual machine performance, ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization.
• Manage storage and network resources, including SAN, NAS, and virtual networking.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for virtual machines and data.
• Ensure virtual infrastructure compliance with company security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related issues, providing timely support to end-users.
• Maintain accurate documentation of virtual infrastructure and contribute to knowledge management efforts.
• Plan and execute upgrades and migrations of VMware infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  
  

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• VMware VCP (Vmware Certified Professional) or higher certification.
• At least 3+ years of experience in VMware vSphereadministration, with a strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenterServer, and virtual machine management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal in English.
• Remark: Willing to travel between Nonthaburi & Samut Prakan.
