Data Engineer (SPX Express)

Job Description

• Design and develop large and complex data warehouse architecture including sourcing of new data sources, developing ETL solutions, driving automation of data solutions and building reliable data models.
• Technical ownership of data modeling and forecasting models, collaborate with development and product team for feature engineering and measuring model impact on business metrics.
• Build data products or automation tools to drive business growth and improve operation efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working in a data driven environment (business intelligence, consulting, software engineering).
• Strong education background with degrees in Engineering or Information Systems (preferred).
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Experience building data models and / or predictive model used in business production environment.
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with non-relational databases.
• A self-motivated, driven, flexible, quick learning, high achieving, “can do” mentality.
• An ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in the English language. (with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, TOEIC score of 850, or equivalent)
