Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. Your role will be crucial in identifying and resolving issues before they reach our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Automated Tests:Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Collaborate with Teams:Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Identify and Report Bugs:Detect, document, and track software defects to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Enhance Testing Processes:Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QA efforts.
• Performance Testing:Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing to ensure the software meets high standards.
• Stay Updated:Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in QA automation and implement best practices.

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium. Experience with Playwright or API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured is a plus.
• Programming Skills:Strong coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript. Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience:Previous experience in QA automation and familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Agile Methodologies:Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Attention to Detail:Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
