Join the SCB 10X’s Typhoon team, the open source AI research arm of SCBx. Our mission is to advance the field of artificial intelligence through open collaboration, focusing on bridging the gap in technology for low-resource languages, with a special emphasis on Thai language, knowledge, and culture. Our aim is to bridge the technological divide, ensuring equitable access to AI technologies worldwide through contributions to the open source community. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing and sharing these innovations, helping to make AI accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Role Overview:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications and infrastructure to support open source AI research and development. You will work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and other engineers to create and maintain tools and products to showcase our work.

Job Descriptions:

• Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and tools that support our AI research and development.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to create public demos and internal PoC projects that showcase our advancements in AI.
• Develop and maintain open-source projects, ensuring they are accessible, well-documented, and easy to use for the community.
• Engage with the open-source community, providing support and incorporating feedback to improve our projects.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI research and technologies, suggesting and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our research and development efforts.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience in software development, particularly in Python and JavaScript.
• Strong experience in front-end frameworks such as React and Next.js.
• Experience in developing and deploying production full stack web applications.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI-based applications or services is a plus.
• Familiarity with back-end frameworks and databases (Node.js, SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects and community engagement is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Thai is highly desirable.
