Objective:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to join our team and lead our marketing efforts for all entities under Soho Hospitality.
This includes:
- Lifestyle Brands: Above Eleven, Charcoal Tandoor Grill & Mixology, Cantina Italian Kitchen, El Santo, Havana Social and Yankii Robatayaki & Bar.
- Soho Pizza: Our QSR pizza brand serving authentic New York slices with locations all around Bangkok.
- Soho Hospitality: Interior Design, Branding, Corporate Office and our CEO, Rohit Sachdev’s profiling.
- SaySo: Our social media digital marketing agency for hospitality establishments.
- SohoX: Asia’s first white-label restaurant management service that seamlessly integrates with a brand, enabling a skyrocketing ROI and end-to-end operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the F&B or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
The Marketing Director is in charge of managing all aspects related to the production and implementation of any given campaign. They are responsible for strategizing, analyzing and leading their team while making sure all efforts run smoothly from start to finish with clients or colleagues alike. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and help it find a “voice” that will make a difference.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique marketing techniques. He/she will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.
Responsibilities:
- Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to generate positive press coverage and enhance brand visibility. Develop PR strategies and manage crisis communications when necessary. The goal is to increase the company’s market share and maximize revenues in order to thrive against competitors.
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing strategies that align
- with the company’s overall objectives and drive business growth. This includes overseeing the development of marketing plans, advertising campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Brand Management: Serve as the guardian of the company’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints. Develop brand positioning strategies to differentiate our offerings in the market and strengthen brand equity.
- Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including website management, social media marketing, email campaigns, SEO/SEM, and online advertising. Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices to optimize online presence and engagement.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape. Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and refine tactics for maximum effectiveness.
- Events Strategy and Conceptualization: Develop and execute an events strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and increase revenue. Conceptualize and plan events that align with the company’s brand identity and resonate with target audiences. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with other departments such as culinary, operations, and sales to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI. Track marketing performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in marketing, with a focus on F&B or hospitality industry
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
- Creative mindset with a passion for food and hospitality
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English and preferably Thai
